There is a concept in the medicine I work in that the external environment affects the internal landscape. The whole macrocosm / microcosm concept.
Explorations and treatment of problems with conception often default to the female side, egg quality etc.
It is in fact a shared responsibility.
This 6 minute video from BBC Reels (click on the image above) and narrated by Dr Shanna Swan, an environmental and reproductive epidemiologist at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York is a succinct, informative dialogue that spells out only too clearly just what impact the external environment is having on the internal environment of the males in our species.
We are what we eat so if you are the one with the sperm, wanting to pursue the path of parenthood, get busy making good choices.
Keep in mind that herbal medicines used by TCM practitioners can impact further the quality of sperm should it need that extra support.
